Nigeria's leading online marketplace, Kaymu.com.ng, has partnered with Cool FM Lagos and Mass Communications Student Association (MCSA) of the University of Lagos, to educate students on how to become successful entrepreneurs.

The event tagged Kaymu Entrepreneurship Workshop took place on the 27th of August, 2014 at the prestigious Afe Babalola hall in the University of Lagos.

University campuses overtime have become a business haven with students partaking in one form of business endeavour or the order as a secondary source of income while pursuing their studies.

The workshop attracted representatives from the organization who spoke on various aspects ranging from entrepreneurship to maximizing social media. The Head of Communications, Tomiwa Oladele pointed out the importance of harnessing key personal attributes as well as technical proficiency while grooming to be an entrepreneur.

Kaymu's Community Manager, Abiola Fabio further emphasized the need for social media marketing and advised students to leverage on the benefits of Kaymu in order to sell their products.

According to Kaymu MD Evangeline Wiles, Kaymu's partnership with Cool FM was founded out of the need to drive entrepreneurship amongst youths who lack the basic knowledge on how to compete in the Nigerian market.

Violence Against Men, Mnombo Madyibi and The VAPP Bill

Quite some fuss has been on about this man in picture MnomboMadyibi who was allegedly hit with a bottle of wine and also suffered attempted suffocation using a red and white teddy bear. But as expected it did not get as much attention like if the switch was fixed (the experience being that of the woman).
We must know that if men keep being treated like non humans, even the violence against women we usually fight for, will only increase astronomically, since after all a woman must live and find her fulfilled being married to a man or at least living and being in relationships with them.
