Ese Walter Launches Abuse-handling Blog

ESE WALTER on her birthday Sunday 29th March, 2015 announced the launch of her new blog ESEWALTER ®

At the heart of the new blog is the release of her writings stemmed on helping psychologically abused women and men. What makes psychological abuse so devious is that it comes from the person we invest the bulk of our emotional energy into. We love this person, but he/she seems to find us lacking in every way possible.

Psychological abuse, also referred to as emotional abuse or mental abuse, is a form of abuse characterized by a person subjecting or exposing another to behaviours that may result in psychological trauma, including anxiety, chronic depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder.

In her words "My purpose with this site is to help women better understand abuse, particularly psychological abuse, which in my opinion is the most insidious form of abuse. I'm also interested in connecting with the men because it is impossible to create lasting change by informing women without empowering the men. After decades of enduring abuse in various forms, I have learned to heal myself and start living my authentic life. I want to help you do the same."

Everyone knows someone impacted by partner abuse - friends, sisters, co-workers. Women stay in abusive relationships for a variety of reasons: fear for physical safety; maintain relationship for the children; no place to go; no economic resources. The abused woman hopes the violence will stop. Remember - the cycle can stop right here!

Why Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme Resigned From House on the Rock Church in Abuja

I have been in pains!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice, I put up my pastor and coach's picture last weekend because I was heart broken.
He is Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, the outgone (as much as I hate to use that) resident pastor of my local assembly in Abuja. I and all those who knows him, are going to miss him soooooooo much, it hurts.

Violence Against Men, Mnombo Madyibi and The VAPP Bill

Quite some fuss has been on about this man in picture MnomboMadyibi who was allegedly hit with a bottle of wine and also suffered attempted suffocation using a red and white teddy bear. But as expected it did not get as much attention like if the switch was fixed (the experience being that of the woman).
We must know that if men keep being treated like non humans, even the violence against women we usually fight for, will only increase astronomically, since after all a woman must live and find her fulfilled being married to a man or at least living and being in relationships with them.
