Chijindu Umunnakwe, part of GOTNI Delegation to the Regional Meeting of Pan-African Parliament

A 6-man delegation selected from among GOTNI were part of the Pan African Parliament regional meeting during the week, and Chijindu an accomplished author and motivator, was one of them. Hear his summation about the experience below:

I was recently part of Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI) delegation to a 3-day Pan-African Parliament which held in Abuja, Nigeria. It was a regional meeting for the promotion of the ratification, domestication and implementation of African Union legal instruments. We were part of the Civil Society Organizations that were present. The Deputy Senate President of Nigeria and also the Speaker of ECOWAS parliament, Senator ike Ekweremmadu was there at the flag-off of the event while Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria and currently governor-elect of Sokoto state was the guest of honour. The Pan-Africa Parliament President, Hon. Bethel Amadi was also there, including many other legislators from West African countries.
The GOTNI team was made up of awesome young people, myself, Runcie Chidebe, Jenny Chisom, Bisoye and Frank. We made very sound contributions to the discussion and part of it was represented in the communique. This thing is making sense. Kanyi na emegodi.

Many thanks to Mr Linus Okorie, my mentor for granting me this privilege. If you're in Abuja, you need to be at GOTNI Leaders Forum, every Monday by 6pm. It's always a great time there.
Anyway, did I tell you that I tried my french skills with some honorable members from Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde and some other francophone countries during lunch? I suddenly discovered my french was playing hide and seek with my brain. *dusting my french skills*
Anyway, one thing I learnt from the session is this, it takes audacity to add your voice to the discussion. Don't let your beautiful contributions be drowned in a haze of people's opinions.

Join Mr Fix Nigeria and myself at Motivators Roundtable, organized by Motivators International for a programme, Dare To Dream Again by 3pm on 3rd May, 2015 at Hotel de Horizon, Wuse 2, Abuja.

Together, we shall keep those beautiful childhood dreams of yours alive.

Why Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme Resigned From House on the Rock Church in Abuja

I have been in pains!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice, I put up my pastor and coach's picture last weekend because I was heart broken.
He is Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, the outgone (as much as I hate to use that) resident pastor of my local assembly in Abuja. I and all those who knows him, are going to miss him soooooooo much, it hurts.

Jenny Chisom's 12 Codes of Conduct for Men That Rivals Any Male Code

It's been a tough past week so I am grateful for Sunday heralding a new week.
I have been burdened to create a Code of Conduct for members of the League of Extraordinary Men (LExM) on Facebook. So while I couldn't attend service, I sat down and wrote this down on my note pad, then typed it.
This came in a bid to begin to restructure the group to ensure it is serving the right purpose and the right men.
