Enterprise Watch: Staff of The Dangote Group Cry Out To President Buhari About Poor Remuneration

Dear CEO,
I think the most important machinery of any enterprise are the 'people'/skilled labour. In Nigeria, we must fight the urge to appreciate our non-Nigerian staff more than our country men. For whatever it's worth, we must empower Nigerians to have dignity in labour as well as have a HR structure that is rewarding so we can retain our best staff. Well, this was the news published by Vanguard about the Dangote Group, and her CEO, Aliko Dangote who is not just one of us but the richest black man.
According to transport staff of the Dangote Cement Company, Obajana, they are responsible for making Aliko Dangote the richest African in the world. The workers are at loggerheads with the management of the company over poor remuneration, threatening not to resume work until their demands are met. On Friday they barricaded the entrance gate of the company and didn't allow management staff to drive in to the premises.
