2nd Most Powerful Woman and Former Liberian First Lady-Senator Jewel Howard-Taylor, Hon. Minister of Greater Accra Region- Hon. Joseph Afotey-Agbo, Kambili Osodolor and Others to Attend West African Philanthropy Awards


Amazing update as we countdown to the Historic West African Philanthropy Awards commonly known as the Prestigious Night of Honour. In a telephone conversation with Amb. Babalola Omoniyi, Principal partner at West African Philanthropy Awards; Liberian second most powerful woman according to Newsweek Uk, former first lady, current Senior Senator representing the Bong County who was Senator of the Year repeatedly from 2007 to 2010 and Chairperson of the Senate Health and Social Welfare Committee on Gender, Women and Children – Her Excellency Sen. Dr. Jewel C Howard-Taylor who in 2009 was honoured as the Most Distinguished Female Philanthropist by the Liberian National Excellence Awards confirmed her presence at the event describing Philanthropy in Africa as a crucial effort needed towards community development and Nation building.

Also attending the glamorous event is Hon. Joseph Nill Laryea Afotey-Agbo, Honourable Minister of Greater Accra Region and Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamasa Constituency who was rated as one of the best performing ministers in Ghana by FAKS Investigative Services.

Adding to the list of confirmed attendees is Nigerian Screen goddess, broadcaster and producer of the popular Sunday show Impact 360 Degree with Kambili.Kambili Osadolor-Ehima, a high-spirited broadcast journalist and philanthropist who spoke with Nicky Nwadinobi and Praise Eno (Principal Partners) promised to storm the event with lots of her eminent colleagues and friends.
It will be recalled that the organizers of the event at a recently held press conference in Cotonou, Benin Republic, affirmed that this year’s edition holding on the 12th of June will be dedicated to celebrate the life and times of Africa’s greatest philanthropist, late Chief MKO Abiola whose whole life was completely sold out to humanity. The event amongst other things will feature a posthumous award and testament of his munificence deeds by beneficiaries as well as a short documentary capturing his benevolence deeds.

Quite some fuss has been on about this man in picture MnomboMadyibi who was allegedly hit with a bottle of wine and also suffered attempted suffocation using a red and white teddy bear. But as expected it did not get as much attention like if the switch was fixed (the experience being that of the woman).
We must know that if men keep being treated like non humans, even the violence against women we usually fight for, will only increase astronomically, since after all a woman must live and find her fulfilled being married to a man or at least living and being in relationships with them.
