Web Summit in Portugal; CEOs Have To Attend

The Nigeria Portugal Friendship & Business Association and Five Thousand Miles invite all Nigerian tech companies to take part in the Web Summit 2016. Web Summit is the world's fastest growing tech conference, having been considered by Forbes as “The best technology conference on the planet”. From 2016 onwards, for at least 3 years, the Web Summit will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. The Web Summit 2016 will take place from 7th to 10th November. 50,000 attendants are expected.

Join the First 25 Abuja Entrepreneurs to Attend the Debut IncubatorsPro Abuja

The IncubatorPro, an entrepreneurs ecosystem for learning which was founded by Chinonso Ogbogu in November 2015 is set to debut in Abuja, Nigeria.

This was unveiled last week alongside two Top CEOs who would be mentoring in the effervescent session. The CEOs are Mr. Kingsley Bangwell of Youngstars foundation and Mrs. Ekaette Umoh, of Business Support Microfinance bank, Abuja. Aliko Dangote, Advises On How Business Owners Can Overcome Nigeria's Economic Challenges

Dangote has advised that we all deploy technological innovations in order to pull through this harsh economic weather that we currently have in Nigeria.
That to me, might mean, getting more online savvy, market online, reduce staff and automate systems, look at office hours again and trim time spent burning diesel etc...that is my own interpretation ooo and I think it is a way to go.

US Government Donates Books to GOTNI

Leadership development in Nigeria has received a boost with the donation of leadership teaching materials by the US Government.
The donation was made to the Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI), a leadership development Non-Profit Organisation in Abuja on Monday. While presenting the books to the President of GOTNI, Linus Okorie, the Political Affairs Officer at the US Embassy in Nigeria, Robert Kerr stated the gesture was in fulfilment of an earlier promise by the US to support the vision of GOTNI, especially in its mission of tutoring young Nigerians towards becoming leaders of repute.
