Black Tie, Red Carpet Paparazzi, Awards and Fun At the House on The Rock, Abuja The Refuge Awards This Sunday

A lot is about to happen in one night come Sunday, May 28th as House on the Rock, The Refuge in Abuja has announced the need to appreciate her workforce and the young people who make the christian organisation worth while.

The event is an Award ceremony that will appreciate workers in Service teams, Small cell groups, Workers' who embarked on a Corporate Social Responsibility at
Police Stations, Schools and Health centres. They also look forward to saying a big "God bless you" to all workers for all they do year in, year out and wish to celebrate their commitment as an example of christian stewardship.

House on the Rock is a church that groom leaders across all spheres and so the presence of a lot of celebrities are expected at the black tie event. The event is strictly on Invitation and starts with a red carpet reception by 5pm on Sunday, May 28th.

Speaking from my knowledge of the church, the Senior Metropolitan Pastor, Paul Adefarasin have been known to convene The Experience, and so many conferences excellently over two decades and we can only expect that touch in this award ceremony.

Churches can host people to have fun too and I love the entire idea.

Why Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme Resigned From House on the Rock Church in Abuja

I have been in pains!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice, I put up my pastor and coach's picture last weekend because I was heart broken.
He is Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, the outgone (as much as I hate to use that) resident pastor of my local assembly in Abuja. I and all those who knows him, are going to miss him soooooooo much, it hurts.

Violence Against Men, Mnombo Madyibi and The VAPP Bill

Quite some fuss has been on about this man in picture MnomboMadyibi who was allegedly hit with a bottle of wine and also suffered attempted suffocation using a red and white teddy bear. But as expected it did not get as much attention like if the switch was fixed (the experience being that of the woman).
We must know that if men keep being treated like non humans, even the violence against women we usually fight for, will only increase astronomically, since after all a woman must live and find her fulfilled being married to a man or at least living and being in relationships with them.
