Owerri Bloggers and Social Media enthusiasts Hangout: Blog Smart 1.0

Owerri is lit with activities and innovation. Entertainment is also truly the new oil in the state...true to that I paid a visit to the Govt. House Chaplain, Pastor Baps yesterday and was also taken on a tour of the new tastefully finished Government House chapel and did I love what I saw? Damn...it practically blew my mind.

I recorded a video too.

Moreso as we made our way to the edifice, just on the top gallery were the cast and crew of a movie prodcution, making up just about to shoot a wedding scene. The bride and groom were dressed and the film church guests then something struck me..."staying away from Owerri or being in Owerri without socialising would keep you off radar"

Why?

We are not telling our stories enough!

We are not telling our stories specially online and so coupled with the biting unemployment yet with the teeming beautiful youth roaming the streets, I think we can do more...we can create value, and employ ourselves.

Exchanging value for cash is how to earn a living!
So this Saturday, bloggers, social media enthusiasts and wanna-be bloggers in Imo state will be gathering to share the ethics, best practices, content tips, traffic matters and monetization strategies within Owerri during the OWERRI BLOG SMART HANGOUT 1.0.

It used to be an exclusive Abuja issh but not anymore...

Check out the banner to register or tell someone to attend.

Special appearances that day will be to tell their stories will be some of the professional bloggers who have been trained by the Jenny Chisom Blog Academy over the years and you are sure to have fun.

I have been in pains!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice, I put up my pastor and coach's picture last weekend because I was heart broken.
He is Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, the outgone (as much as I hate to use that) resident pastor of my local assembly in Abuja. I and all those who knows him, are going to miss him soooooooo much, it hurts.

When Premium Times and NIRSAL Discussed How To Fix Nigeria's Agricultural Value Chain

Yesterday, Monday Nov.27, I was a rapporteur for this Agriculture summit by Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism and NIRSAL. NIRSAL is The Nigeria Incentive-based Risk sharing System for Agricultural Lending and is an agency of the central bank of Nigeria.

The event which held at the Shehu Musa Yar adua centre was attended by operators, government, and stakeholders of the Agricultural sector and

Jenny Chisom's 12 Codes of Conduct for Men That Rivals Any Male Code

It's been a tough past week so I am grateful for Sunday heralding a new week.
I have been burdened to create a Code of Conduct for members of the League of Extraordinary Men (LExM) on Facebook. So while I couldn't attend service, I sat down and wrote this down on my note pad, then typed it.
This came in a bid to begin to restructure the group to ensure it is serving the right purpose and the right men.
