TEDxAladinma To Host Uriel Oputa, Chude Jideonwo, Chioma Ukonu, Confidence Odionye, others on May 20

According to a statement made available to AlaOwerri.com by the organisers, the first independent TED event in South East Nigeria will be happening in Owerri. TEDxAladinma will take place on Saturday, May 20 in the capital of Imo State with the initial theme “Unleash the Dragon”. 

The novel event is billed to attract a host of Students, youths, public administrators, industrialists, academia and technocrats. Some of the distinguished speakers expected at the event includes Uriel Ngozika Oputa of Big Brother Naija fame, Chude Jideonwo of Red Media Africa, Chioma Ukonu, cofounder RecyclePoints, Mark Okoye Jnr, Anambra State commissioner of Economic Planning, Confidence Odionye, Founder, BeatTraffick other speakers include Patience Orji, Powerlifting World Record holder and Chibueze Ikedi of Learn Factory among others.

As part of the TEDx tradition, TEDxAladinma chose speakers from a mix of professions such as entertainment, technology, academia, public service, literary art, environment, social enterprise and sports. We want to share the inspiring stories from these achievers in order to motivate the youths in our community to do extraordinary things. 

We want the audience to explore their talents, after this event especially, in the face of the harsh economy. The overall aim of the maiden conference is to inspire people to unleash their potentials, help them discover what they can do every day to fulfil their purpose in life.
