Ishakool Hotel: An Undiscovered Delightful Home Away From Home

Hello JCBite,

Like joke oh, you see how 2018 ran fast like a race horse making some of us feel like we are yet to adjust to the year then it is over! Sigh*

I have been mostly indoors last week working hard on my first transformational blogging online course, which has been on demand for almost 5 years. But I was happy to finally get out on Sunday evening with other bloggers and Influencers to a quiet hotel called Ishakool Hotel.

I loved this chair as soon as I set my eyes on it at their Reception

I am not sure you know that apart from blogging, I also do work at Login Bloggers Africa, an Influencer marketing company. On that Sunday evening, we had to go check out a serene hotel and apartment located at 5 Oke Agbe street, off Ladoke Akintola Boulevard Garki 2, Abuja.

Yea, the name of the hotel is Ishakool hotel with website at and we did a tour of their facility with the help of an assigned staff.

The Front Desk Area

They have rooms from N20, 200 (promo rate) and above in 4 different types - Standard,  Deluxe, Executive room and Executive Suite, well lit, ventilated and a sweet smelling environment. The hotel is a home away from home and a calm place to unwind especially if you are in town for work, conference, just hang out or have an intimate party.

The Bar has exquisite lighting that made me want to stay there for a while. LOL

I had to take a photo there to remember

Next, we went to the Restaurant and it was also cozy, with courteous staff and waiters on standby. We tasted their dishes too, just one of it though. I will show you below.

More of the rooms I took pictures of are here:

I love this art and many others they had as decoration at Ishakool hotel Abuja

The Laundry room

Omg! The highlight of that hotel was their double penthouse view and a hair runway event was even underway as we got there, so I snapped these pictures just before they began full swing. These videos of the event at the Penthouse tells you the beauty.

That view is lovely and shows major parts of the city overlooking the whole of Garki, and other parts of Abuja. The event holding there had lovely decorations and lovely people too.

Their stairway also has a touch of Christmas

Ishakool Rice meal, that I ate

I do recommend the hotel when you need a get away from home to work, strategise. They have a Salon, Gym, and other facilities yet to be set up but it is still a good place to also hang out with friends, have a rooftop party and just have fun.

The only bit that scared me was their manual elevator which has a detached entrance door and non-moveable walls (I could not understand why at first), but as soon as I entered it from the 3rd floor to the ground floor without hassles, my fear disappeared. I can fear sha ( I can be quite anxious). LOL

This is a sponsored experience but candid reviews are mine.

Why Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme Resigned From House on the Rock Church in Abuja

I have been in pains!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice, I put up my pastor and coach's picture last weekend because I was heart broken.
He is Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, the outgone (as much as I hate to use that) resident pastor of my local assembly in Abuja. I and all those who knows him, are going to miss him soooooooo much, it hurts.

Violence Against Men, Mnombo Madyibi and The VAPP Bill

Quite some fuss has been on about this man in picture MnomboMadyibi who was allegedly hit with a bottle of wine and also suffered attempted suffocation using a red and white teddy bear. But as expected it did not get as much attention like if the switch was fixed (the experience being that of the woman).
We must know that if men keep being treated like non humans, even the violence against women we usually fight for, will only increase astronomically, since after all a woman must live and find her fulfilled being married to a man or at least living and being in relationships with them.
